Automatic rewinders (they usually have various unwinding units) avoid the waste of time of core introduction and log extraction typical of semi automatic rewinders and they can be used to produce any kind of rolls, even with reduced winding lengths.

Maflex automatic rewinders have a maximum working speed of 500 mt/min and a maximum roll face of 3300 mm.
