Maflex produces
orbital log saws.
Our log saws have a device for
automatic trimming and electronically programmed cutting length.
Special clamps are also available.
The log saw blade spins on its axis and also on the parallel axis outside the blade to better pierce the log.
Grinding units with special grinding “borazon” wheels are used to grind the blade.
A special
cooling unit is installed to cool the cutting blade, spraying oil through nozzles suitably situated around this area.
Logs are held into place through plastic or metallic clamps.
We can also supply a universal clamp to hold logs with a minimum diameter of 120 mm and a maximum diameter of 330 mm, without changing any component of the machine.
Log saws are used to produce
industrial rolls, toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, industrial
rags, nonwovens and plastic products.
Our log saws are designed for a maximum roll face of 3300 mm, maximum diameter of 350 mm, maximum working speed of 200 strokes/minute, feeding 1 to 4 channels.
