Unwinders are designed to unwind Parent reels by means of expandable shafts or core plugs penetrating into the cardboard core, they are clamped by means of two pneumatic or hydraulic chucks .
The unwinding is peripheric: the movement is transmitted to the reel through flat belts wrapping the reel with an angle of almost 90 degrees.
Unwinders are designed and realized for paper reel with a maximum diameter of 2500 mm, a roll face of 3300 mm and a mechanical speed of 600 mt/min.
