TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
It is a very simple machine for large format but also small printing repeats which works with a new technology managed by microprocessors which allows to print with only three plate cylinder all the printing repeats needed, without having a large and expensive stock of plate cylinders.
The printing unit can be installed in line with extruder, in line with bag machine or bag maker and can also be a reel to reel press, both stack or central impression type.
The computer installed at machine side has a simplified software which allows, by inserting only two coordinates which are the printing length and the plate length to change the printing repeat which means that it is possible to give the customers all the printing repeats which are needed with the big advantage that small lot will not be anymore very expensive due to machine stops and plate cylinders purchaising.
The theoretical time for job change is drastically reduced even if it is a large sleeve printing repeat 1500 mm.
The real innovation is that the beginning of the print is automatic for each group. This means that with maximum one complete turn of the printing roll, all the groups settle on the “print centre” which is the printing beginning, of course with the possibility to go ahead or back simply by using the switcher plus or minus.
The plate roll with cantilever to change the sleeves is very easy to use.
The ceramic anilox roll has a number of lines depending upon customer requests. The doctor blade is traditionally installed but with an upset of 90° to facilitate the cleaning and the doctor blade change.
The printing unit can easily be disassembled to allow the cleaning for the color change.
The counterimpression roll is very big and is made with chromed steel and it is lapped.
Brushless motors and electronic position reader drive all the movements.
The machine can be driven by the touch screen monitor positioned on the main panel and from the small keyboards positioned close to each color unit and chill roll.

Hot air drying system, which can be centralized or single performed by electric resistor, if required gas burner or UV.

The electric and electronic system is installed in a box near the machine. The electric equipment includes wire, box, guards, electronic cards etc.
