LOG SAWS
The log saw is the last step of the converting line before arriving at the packaging process.
This unit, equipped with a large diameter circular blade that moves following a special orbit, cuts the logs produced upstream turning them into rolls of the desired cut size.
A key element of the Maflex log saw is the versatility that makes it extremely flexible and quick in production changes.
All operating parameters can indeed be set via a user-friendly operator panel; the universal clamp devices (clamps), which support the log during the cutting process, are automatically adjusted to the diameter to be cut.
LADON log saw has a single infeed channel and is mainly dedicated to the production of large diameters rolls.
HESPERIA log saw is equipped with more infeed channels to meet even high production volumes of toilet rolls and kitchen towels.
Both are equipped with a device for automatic trim removal.
