Maflex presents its first Sustainability Report
A new step in its responsible growth journey

Maflex presents its first Sustainability Report 2025, a project that represents a new milestone in the company’s growth journey and in the progressive integration of ESG principles into its development model.
For Maflex, sustainability means designing increasingly efficient technological solutions, investing in people’s skills, strengthening processes and governance tools, and consolidating long-term relationships with customers and partners.
Operating in an international industry such as tissue converting, the company considers innovation, efficiency and sustainability as strategic drivers to address future challenges.
The Sustainability Report 2025 has been prepared according to the voluntary VSME framework (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs), a European recognized standard that allows companies to measure and transparently report their environmental, social and governance performance, providing stakeholders with a clear overview of their sustainable growth journey.
The project was developed through a collaborative approach involving different areas of expertise within the company.
The strategic direction was led by Luca Mazzotti, General Manager of Maflex, with the internal coordination of Sara Carli, Finance, Legal & HR Specialist, and the methodological support of consultant Gianmaria Nardi, who guided the company in structuring its ESG reporting process according to the VSME framework.
“Our first Sustainability Report does not represent a final achievement, but a new starting point. We have chosen to measure and share a way of working that has always defined Maflex: developing reliable solutions, building strong partnerships and creating long-term value,” says Luca Mazzotti.
Among the main achievements of 2025 are the use of renewable energy, the focus on reducing environmental impacts, investments in training and the development of people’s skills, as well as the strengthening of governance tools through the adoption of the 231 Model, the Code of Ethics and the Whistleblowing system.
For Maflex, sustainability is also closely connected to the way we design: efficient solutions, technologies focused on reducing energy consumption and machines developed to ensure reliability and production continuity over time, while actively contributing to customers’ competitiveness.
This journey will continue in the coming years through new goals, the consolidation of ESG data collection and the development of initiatives focused on creating shared value.
